The technical support facility Welding is responsible for the supervision of welding tasks in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. Apart from other tasks, it is in charge of the execution of process inspections and tests in accordance with DIN ISO 15614-1, it prepares welding and thermal treatment plans and carries out measures in order to obtain the validity of manufacturers' welding procedure specifications certificates.

 

In addition, its responsibilities comprise the schooling and further training of welders in accordance with DIN EN 287-1, DIN ISO 9606-4 und DIN EN 1418.
